Changing the world... Through the Discovery, Education and Care

Welcome to Equal Opportunity

What We Do...

The Equal Opportunity (EO) staff has the responsibility to ensure compliance with federal and state laws by providing dispute resolution for complaints as they relate to discrimination.  EO will serve as a liaison between faculty, staff and students as well as different university entities to provide guidance to the university community through processes for equity and nondiscrimination and by providing assistance to departments with the hiring goals and recruitment of Faculty, Staff and Administrative & Professional employees. EO will conduct reviews and/or investigations in an effort to establish whether discrimination has occurred and implement and facilitate training programs that create awareness of equal opportunity and diversity related issues. This office also coordinates the disability accommodation request process by providing guidance to employees and supervisors.

"HOOP Policy Update"
