The Unit Volunteer Coordinator will advise UTHSC-H Volunteer Coordinator (Human Resources) of potential volunteer by providing the following items received from the department:

Volunteer Profile
Parental Consent (required for those between the ages of 14-17)
Volunteer Memorandum to International Affairs (required if not U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
The Unit Volunteer Coordinator will also advise potential volunteer to contact UTHSC-H Volunteer Coordinator (HR) for processing.
Upon clearance notification from Health Services of tuberculosis skin test results and clearance notification from UTPD of criminal background check, the UTHSC-H Volunteer Coordinator (HR) will advise the Unit Volunteer Coordinator the of volunteer’s clearance and eligibility to begin the volunteer assignment. If the prospective volunteer is not eligible, the UTHSC-H Volunteer Coordinator (HR) will advise the Unit Volunteer Coordinator via email of the volunteer’s ineligibility.
The UTHSC-H Volunteer Coordinator (HR) will provide the Identification badge of the cleared volunteer to the Unit Volunteer Coordinator.
Upon completion of the volunteer assignment, the Unit Coordinator is responsible for advising the HR Volunteer Coordinator of volunteer’s exit, collection of the ID badge and forwarding the badge to the UTHSC-H Volunteer Coordinator (HR).
