As an experienced fundraising professional, you will be responsible for implementing and sustaining a unified campus-wide Planned Giving Program. Emphasis will be on gifts exceeding $200,000, and identifying prospects that will generate a $1 million fundraising effort.
In this role, you will orchestrate a program of Planned Giving including identifying, cultivating and soliciting high prospects and donors; developing cohesive campaign themes and materials; work with the web design team for maximum market penetration; and create a donor recognition program. The ability to work effectively with University leaders, high-level volunteers, and Development Board members is required to succeed in this high-profile role.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of five years experience with major gift fundraising, including planned giving; Master’s degree preferred
- Current knowledge of the various planned giving vehicles, tax implications, and appropriateness for donor
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with planned giving software
