Enivronmental Health & Safety

The Chemical Safety Program is responsible for providing support to UTHSC-H students, faculty, and staff concerning the recognition, evaluation, and control of chemical, biological, and physical hazards. To that end, they offer courses on the following subjects:

  • Basic Hazard Awareness
  • Basic Laboratory and Clinical Safety
  • Basic Radiation Safety
  • Chemical/Laboratory Safety Refresher Course
  • Radiation Safety Officer Course
  • X-ray Radiation Safety Officer Course
