Megan graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a BA in Speech Communication. Her career at the health science center began shortly thereafter in June of 2007 as a Human Resources Training Specialist. As a recent college graduate and new to the “working world” Megan took on responsibilities such as the coordination and facilitation of New Employee Orientation and the scheduling and administration of HR training classes.
Not long after arriving to the health science center Megan was placed on the project team for acquiring and implementing the university’s new learning management system (LMS), now known as the UTHSC-H Training & Resource Center (TRC). Megan is the System Administrator for the TRC and is responsible for both functional and technical aspects of the system, including all TRC Administrator training. The TRC is a university-wide system that hosts all university compliance and regulatory training and also serves as the registration tool for instructor-led training throughout the campus.
Since the TRC’s implementation in July of 2008 she continues to manage the system daily and has had the opportunity to work on many special projects both within Human Resources and throughout the University.
